CBN, or the Accounting Standards Commission, is an autonomous institution that advises the government and parliament in drafting the implementing decrees for accounting legislation. It also contributes to the development of accounting rules and helps define the principles of regular bookkeeping. For CBN, Aperta developed a modern, bilingual and mobile-friendly website in Drupal 8 with a large number of new functionalities.
Our mission
The CBN website was seriously outdated and no longer met the needs of the visitors and the administrators. So it was time for a new, responsive and bilingual website with a more modern and fresh look ‘n feel. CBN also wanted to implement a number of new functionalities, such as:
- The Individual Decisions on Accounting Law, had to be published directly on the website in a user-friendly manner.
- The opinions, which were previously only available in PDF format, and the coordinated legal texts had to be available for consultation in their entirety, in a structured manner and in an attractive, readable layout.
- The intranet, including agenda and meeting reports, had to be incorporated into the website.
Our Solutions
Aperta built the new website of CBN in Drupal 8, which offers a lot of advantages and was the perfect fit for this project because of the specific functionalities that needed to be integrated.
