Job Summary

We are seeking a young but talented Sales Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, attracting new clients, and developing and implementing marketing strategies. You will be working closely with our managing director to drive growth and ensure the company meets its revenue targets.

Job Description

As a Junior Sales Engineer at APERTA, you will play a crucial role in driving international sales efforts to large companies seeking cloud application development services. You will work closely with our sales and technical teams to understand our clients’ needs and provide tailored solutions, helping them leverage the power of cloud technology for their businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    – Identify and research potential clients in international markets.
    – Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Client Engagement:
    – Collaborate with the Managing Director to engage with C-level executives and decision-makers in large enterprises.
    – Conduct presentations to showcase our cloud application development expertise.
  • Solution Development:
    – Work closely with our technical team to design and develop custom cloud solutions that align with client requirements.
    – Prepare and present technical proposals and solution architectures to clients.
  • Sales Strategy:
    – Assist in developing and executing sales strategies for international markets.
    – Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive offerings to position APERTA as a market leader.
  • Relationship Building:
    – Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
    – Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ business challenges and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Sales Reporting:
    – Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM software.
    – Provide regular reports and updates on sales progress to the sales management team.


  • Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering).
  • Preferably a Greek citizen, fluent in English
  • Strong passion for technology and cloud application development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  • Some previous experience in sales or technical sales in a services company is a plus.
  • Willingness to work as a freelancer with a fixed monthly fee and high commission

APERTA is a web agency based in Belgium. We build, design and maintain Drupal, WordPress and Adobe Commerce websites as well as mobile apps in Flutter. We have a personal approach to projects, a real sharing is caring mentality and like to leave room for work hard, play hard. We are familiar with working with nearshore teams and currently have 8 (mainly Greek) nearshore partners already. Thanks to this, working remotely is standard practice for us.
